Posted 9 years agoWell, live has been going by. IN a month or so this year for Uni is over, Ill have summer vacation. And a month later I will be in the USA for a while. Doing a roadtrip with some friends which is going to be sweet~
And I finally got a part time job which is fucking great, it isn't much but hey I get money.
And since its Tuesday and Im bored, eh feel free to ask me anything.

Posted 9 years agoAaawh, finally, christmas vacation. I was really in need of some vacation time. Alot of stuff that has happened in the past few months and I still havent sorted it all out mentally.
Well atleast I can chill for the next 2 weeks, had a great christmas dinner with my housemates last saturday. Of course it was great, cause it was entirely cooked by me. Cooking for 12 people is alot of fun, but can be a bit stressfull in the last stretch xD
And Im glad that today is the shortest day of the year, Im getting fed up with these short days. I want more sun hours.

Wooh Activity and a bit on mental capabilities rambling
Posted 9 years agoWell then luckily the ADD/ADHD track didnt take long. Glad with quick results. Turns out Im psychologically completely health, which was very nice to hear. Sometimes you just wonder, ne~
Anyways, its most likely that my focus and procastination problems come from a combination of my character, my intelligence, old experiences, having had a negative self image for fairly long time and hyper sensitivity. It caused me to not pick up certain skills such as self motivation. Luckily with a bit of time and practice I should be able to get this on track and hopefully my grades will shoot up after that again.
I find it amusing in a way taht my own intelligence is a factor in this, it allowed me to breeze and some parts very bored through primary and secondary school, which caused me to never really pick up any skills to need to motivate myself to actually do studying. Since I think, even if the subject matter is very intresting, trying to cram it into your head is so incredibly boring. Alas, such are the requirements for Universtity and most education systems as a whole.
Now stopping the procastination and back to studying

Posted 9 years agoWell, already 2 years since my last journal. Damn time fucking flies by.
Still in Uni, still biology, everything has gone a bit slower then expected due to... alot of stuff actually. Past two years had some heartbreak, new friends, personal growth, some very depressing periods the only reason I came out of bed was because I didnt want to worry other people.
But Im doing good... great even. I have mostly found my happy spot. Gonna start psychological evaluation in about 2 weeks for ADD/ADHD... which is going to be fun I guess. Ill probably be laughing my ass of if it turns out that I have it, as it would mean that it took 24 years for it to be figured out.
Im going to try and be a bit more active here, no idea how but Ill manage somehow I guess haha.
Anyways, just showing that this lurker is still alive, now to recede back to the murkiness of studying. The joy~

Very over due update, VEEERRRY
Posted 11 years agoSo it has been over a year since I posted a journal. Well atleast I made some uploades to show that I wasn't entirely dead. Life has a way to grab you and just drag you along and not realize how much time has passed.
Year was not without problems, but hey atleast everything is okay now. Summer vacation makes everything alot better. Ill try to keep my updates a bit more regular then a once a year one xD
But I also have a question for anyone who might read this. I have been into detective fiction alot lately, I want to ask for any recomendations for books. I know of the likes of Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur C Doyle and Ronald Knox, so any specific books or arthurs suggestions are welcome.
A little note, I mean real detectives and preferably fair play, ya know the ones that if you read the story again you facepalm for not seeing the hints and foreshadowing properly. I like a good read of any kind but at the moment Im looking for this more specifically.

Enjoying the summer
Posted 12 years agoIm about a month into my summervacation now, still have a month to go. Pff, I deserve that vacation after working a year so damn hard. But I made it into the second years biology students so that makes me happy.
Also managed to land a summerjob at the Universitaire Hospital, its a simple cleaning job but money is always welcome. Besides, I enjoy it and generally have a good morning chat with the nice ladies of the patient check-in since I clean their office. The first week was tough though, needed to get up at 6 AM so I kinda suffered from random sleepiness attacks in the noon, I only work till midday so I still have the rest of the day free. Now I seem to manage it better, sometimes still a bit sleep during the noon but not that bad. And as an added bonus, I wont be suffering from the need to get up in time for Uni problem most people have after a vacation, since I can sleep an hour and half longer then.
Also picked up a few new games, like KH 3D, which Im stuck right now, cant beat a boss that starts with lobbing skyscrapers at you. Need to level up a bit, though not a big fan of the command display (WHERE THE FUCK IS MY QUICK SELECT). And also started playing the pants wetting, Amnesia, God that game already fucking creeped me out innumerable times and Im not even that far in I think.
I havent been drawing much, not that it matters since still no scanner. I'll see what my bday manages to land me in a few months and might decide to buy a tablet so I can start learning digital art.

Friend in Need

Keziah parents decided to throw her out. She has I believe about another week to get stuff put together, and then she's living in her car unless she can find a way to get to one of her friends houses to live, at least temporarily.Because of this, she will probably have to get rid of her bird. One of her best things in life, and her parents don't give a shit. Unfortunately she doesn't have much of a choice.
Today, that's been made much more insignificant.
Her parents are filing to take custody of her 7-year-old daughter.
Above all else, Kez loves her daughter more than anything else of hers. This is a shocking turn of events, because not only is she now kicked out from her house and living in her car, she has to stay in the area until the court date, near the end of July, if she wants to fight it. She has a job, but it's not nearly enough to pay for hotel rooms or anything like that.
What I'm asking for here, is if there are any furs in the Kansas City area, or more accurately, Lebanon area, who can offer some form of help, be it a couch to sleep on, a shower, anything that can help her survive the next month until the court date.
If you know someone, please spread the word. I would try to help her out, but I live both to far and do not have money to spare to be of signifigance.

General Update

anyway, just a little update on my side, been half a year into uni now. Ive been quiet busy with the courses and life around it, so I was forced to put working on art on a lower priority. And disregarding the fact that I have no way to put up sketchs anyway due to lack of scanner, maybe I can highjack one at Uni.
There is a bit of fun news, I am working on a secret project with a close friend of mine. Its probably going to take a good amount of time for us to finish it, since both of us are in Uni, live in different countries and I have yet to get a tablet to work digitally, so yeah.
anyway, just a little update on my side, been half a year into uni now. Ive been quiet busy with the courses and life around it, so I was forced to put working on art on a lower priority. And disregarding the fact that I have no way to put up sketchs anyway due to lack of scanner, maybe I can highjack one at Uni.

So I now a month at Uni already had my first exam, but Im freaking loving it so far. Been meeting only great people so far and subject matter really picks my intrest. Those being curious, uni study is Biology.
Anyways, I got no info on the whole robbing thing, just like I suspected. Good thing I didnt have that great loses (my watch dammit ;A;)
Down side to it all a bit is that since I actually use my mental abilities (wooh, sounds like I have some weird mental power xD) instead of just goofing around like at Secondary, Im generally bit to worn out to draw. Not that I could show it off sadly, cause I still dont have access to a scanner ;A; Im sorry watchers, Im a horrible artist at this front. I will update as soon as Im able to.

Robbed
Posted 13 years agoArgh I cant believe what just happened last night, well really early this morning. Two guys and I came walking back from our freshman party. Then we get approached by what I first assumed to be some drunk guys. All of the sudden they break through us and push us to side and go "Empty your pockets, dont make any fuss we are armed." They stole all cash we had with us, which in my case wasnt much, took my phone which was a waste of their effort since that thing is practically broken and finally they took the watch that was a bday gift from my parents several years ago. Im so incrediblly pissed of at that, but sadly I found out quiet early that they really were armed so making a fuss and refusing anything would have ended with probably a knife between my ribs or something like that.
Police are idiots aswell, went this morning to file the mugging and then I had to make an appointment for it. A freaking appointment to file a mugging >.< God I hope for them that everything goes smooth monday for when Ill be there cause else Im going to make a scene in the middle of the policestation. Then people wonder why we are losing our trust in our police force over here.
all with all, I pissed off at this all really, suprisingly I wasnt afraid during the whole thing was like a switch sprang that turned off all emotions. Atleast I got a good look at the leading guy even though I havent seen his face. So yeah, maybe to be continued.
Small update
Posted 13 years agoWell, its one week before I start Uni life. Kinda excited about it all. But just to let the small group of watches that I know that I didnt stop drawing... its just that I have been busy this summer vacation, as in been on vacation for a month and got a new laptop but the laptop doesnt hook up with the old scanner that I have. Its all kinda messy atm and not the good kind of messy. Hopefully stuff will be sorted soon and I can go back to my irregular drawing posts

Yesterday was a big day, I would get the results of my final exams and if I graduate or not. After whole night of horror movies with friends, under the thought of if we do not sleep we will be to tired to stress out, and a morning of some leftover horror movies, the time arrived of the calling starting from school. After a hour and half starring at the phone, not daring to go to the toilet cause of potentially missing the call, the liberating call came announcing that I passed them all.
Meaning that I will head off to Uni in September ^.^
Course Im really psyched of this.
